Each time I see that statement on twitter I ask, why not follow first. I discover it has become a norm for most Nigerians do not want to dare to be the first; first to take an action. Instead, they wait on others to take the first step for them to "follow back". This same mentality has been brought into social media. Observing events during the Biafra agitation and the Revolution Now campaign, I see many Nigerians yearn for leadership and direction. They waited in silence for years for the person to take the lead towards their agitation before coming out en-masse. But why do they die in silence and not take the lead? Fear? In classrooms, you will see children being afraid to say their minds even when they have an answer in mind. The assumption "what if I'm wrong," creates a fear that kills their confidence. I just settled in my seat (window seat) on an aero flight when this Oyinbo lady lady walked in and sat on the aisle seat. There was just a seat in between us. She was on a call and only smiled at me to greet me and continued with her conversation.  Shortly later, an Alhaji walked in neat white kaftan and a blue cap. He was to take the seat in between myself and the Oyinbo. I made some observations about my two seat mates. The Oyinbo.  Fluent, well-versed and free...yeah! That's the word, she was FREE with her conversation on the phone. SELF CONFIDENCE. The Alhaji You see the Alhaji, he isn't well read, semi-literate but he was kinda rich, carefree and confident too. He was just chewing whatever it was he had in his mouth 'carefreely'. You can see the assessment of both. They were both FREE (even though one had "care" before his own free) but it takes confidence to even be carefree in your illiteracy. Both knew their SELF worth and were confident in it. Observi

Don't think it, just run! We run, yes we always do! Isn't that a problem? When we can't face problems to see them solved but instead we run! I've thought it over, and statistics have proven it to be, that we have the best, creative, and talented, but yet we always run. We run to foreign grounds to be productive and leave our roots in ruins. Billions have gone, millions are plotting to cross and the number will continue to rise if nothing happens. Is that all we can do, I mean is that all we should do? Some people sacrificed to make the places we run to habitable but we are unwilling to pay the price. But how? They've failed us, or should I say, we allowed them to fail us. They will continue to fail and milk us in corruption because they know we would only run without a fight. We fight those who close their borders at us instead of fighting those who pushed us out to the borders. If our own people, our own leaders could so corruptly treat us, why wouldn'

Education has become the key to a keyless door in Nigeria. The door evolved but the key did not... People now call education and it's certifications a scam because it opens no doors or only ancient of doors and not the modern evolved doors to good living.  Knock and it shall be opened is the only spiritual solace for the common masses who have this obsoleted key useful only for the wall of fame display and useless to open the doors to good living. Three ways to get the door opened in Nigeria: First an "inner connect", second an "inner-inner connect" and third, the right remote control. Knock and if you have a 'connection' inside, the door will be opened otherwise you must work to have what it takes, the remote control, to open it yourself. Become the best skilled at what you do to the point you become unignorable. Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank (Prov 22:29).
