The Oyo I want: youth engagement in Oyo state.

I think right now I can start to ask my governor what he has done for us, educated youths, budding entrepreneurs with creative ideas needing capital, and skilled young artisans seeking the necessary tools for business operations... please add yours if I did not capture your class/case among the above portfolios. The time is over boasting about what is being done for our parents by duly giving them their deserved rights (salary), the time is over bragging about paying our grandparents their entitled privilege for their tireless years of service. Now is the time to ask, what fate is ours, the youth of Oyo state to build a future we desire. It's time to ask, not just what the plans are because we are tired of learning about unexecutable plans, but we desire to know the actions being taken to meaningfully engage young graduates, educated youths, skilled artisans, and vibrant entrepreneurial business ideas!  I'm pained to hear about Billions of Naira for bus terminus!!! Amotekun, dead on arrival?

It was a bright evening as we marched through the bush path towards an earthen well in the thick forest to fetch some water back to the camp.  Few miles towards the described location of the well, a young ambassador veered off path to cut a tree branch and he was immediately dragged back by another ambassador as he pointed towards a partially buried tree branch on the ground. He said that was a sign to warn about a trap. Lo and behold, he was right, there was a trap. Why would it be imperative to have an outfit that would assist the military and other para-military outfits to end their menace? Simply because the military and police have failed and are inadequate w

Fellowship Holier than thou scam 2

Campus Fellowship scams. Sisters Eye service! I remember an issue that broke out in church sometime back. A mother was pissed off by the attitude of some ladies in the students fellowship. On a fateful day, she had walked past a fellowship sister and the lady merely muttered "Good afternoon ma'am" and walked past. Coincidentally the fellowship Papa (president) walked by at the same time and the said lady knelt on both knees to greet the Papa, a fellow student like herself.  Your guess is as good as mine, a church council meeting was convened on the matter. Students regard their fellowship excos more than even their parents. There was a time when the cooler ministry reigned. Sisters would cook and take food flasks to brothers (especially excos) in the fellowship, but ask many of them to cook at home, it becomes an issue.  I never received a cooler in that ministry though. It wasn't needed anyway, we had the best cooks in our room in D5. Mehn! Tosin can cook anything, w
