One quick fact I must establish is that Christian couples can be unequally yoked too. It doesn't have to be with a Muslim-Christian combination before couples are "unequally yoked"
How? Read more
The concept of unequal yoking is derived from the farming practice of yoking animals with farm machinery for farm work. A pair of oxen (or other animal) pull the wooden beam. The idea is to pair two animals of equal strength, size and type together. If the animals are not of the same strength and size, the weaker one is not only going to slow the stronger down but also in danger of death (if the stronger fails to slow down).
With this conceptual explanation, it can be put forward that a christian couple can be unequally yoked too if they are not of the same spiritual, emotional and maturity strength. 'Can two walk together except they agree'? That question covers spiritual, and emotional agreement between two individuals.
So can a Christian brother marry a muslim woman? We will answer that question in the next article.
